Knitted Green Kimono Style Sweater

Saw this on Facebook and it made me chuckle, so while it's been a while since you probably had left overs from Thanksgiving, I thought I'd share this.  lol  Actually I think the best part of going to someone else's house for the feast is not having left overs to deal with.  I'm not much of a fan of left overs, and the meal itself really isn't one of my favorites.  What I like is having time with family.  I hope you all enjoyed your time with family and friends, with or without leftovers.

I'm doubling up today with this post, why?  Cause I'm several days late getting the post up for YOP, and today is Wednesday soooooooo .

**All badges are links, click and join us, link up and share some linky love along the way**

This green sweater has been a long time in the making.  I barely got started on it last year right after Christmas, as it was suppose to be a belated gift for my DD.  It kept getting put away.  Been trying to get back into it so have been working on it now for awhile...large piece is the back and the smaller piece (the one still on the needles is one of the fronts.  I'm wondering when the time comes if it's best to laundered, and block before stitching together or stitch together then launder and block.  Love some input.

Hope you're all busy and enjoying the projects you're working on from your list (YOP), as well as projects you're trying madly to get done in time for Christmas Gifts.

If you've got time, would you consider making something for Bridge and Beyond?  We're getting more requests this year.  Seems more are living out in the cold, and the weather turned colder then normal earlier then normal here.

If you're cold, got snow on the ground and want a warm thought..........please check out a post from a quest blogger on my Travel Blog, I promise you'll be glad you did.

I Belief it's Wednesday, Big Linky Day

Wednesday Work in Progress Time with Tami, What are you doing Wednesday with Susan
I am knitting the last section of this time consuming long time work in progress feather and fan style afghan.  The final dark gray edge.  Then will need to work in the edges...think about whether or not I want to crochet an edge around it?  I'm hopeful I won't run out of the gray.  The ball you see isn't very big and I have another one about the same size.  The final edge of course has additional rows the other sections don't have...so fingers crossed.  I love the look, love the way the colors came together even though the design changed several times based on what yarn I had.  It's called Sea and Sand and will be donated to Homeless Families Foundation through my charity, Bridge and Beyond.

AND today over at Paula's, June Blog Challenge, our prompt is to write about your beliefs.  Had to think about that, as we already wrote about religious beliefs, so this sorta seems like a repeat.  Perhaps this prompt is an attempt to be more general?
  • I belief in people.  Despite all the negative things you see on tv and read on facebook, I belief most people are good and want to do good.  I belief the few extreme loud mouths get the news cover which sours everyone.
  • I belief family is important.
  • I belief people should slow down and smell the roses and quit making lists, like bucket lists, to do lists, things to accomplish or buy lists.  Live each day and be happy for the day, it's a gift.
  • I belief people need to learn contentment.
  • I belief people shouldn't expect everything to go 100% there way all time, and learn how to adjust and move forward.
  • I belief everyone should do what they can for others, and not judge people who have trouble making it on their own.  I belief it's our Christian duty to care for others.
  • I believe...I best get linked up and start visits or I'll never get done.........cause the list of I belief could go on and on.
INVITING YOU ALL, from all the linky's above to join me on Monday's for Memory Monday.  Click here to see what it's all about and be sure and mark your calendar to come join the fun.  It's a new linky, and we're just trying to get going...so please help out.  We all moan about Monday, let's put some life and fun into that day.

Dark and Gloomy Wednesday

Got the two areas in front weeded.  Paced myself and did some last Friday and finished on Sunday, then hubby got picked up the first round of mulch.  I say first because it takes more then several.  20 bags is what fits in the back of the Explorer and that's what you see here is 20 bags.  These aren't real large areas in front of the house, but I bet 20 bags isn't going to be enough, as I eye ball it.  I should remember to write down how much we use where from year to year.  So, perhaps posting here on the blog will aid me next year.

In previous years I would have probably weeded and mulch both areas in a day.  Can't do that now.  The arthritis in the knee and back being a problem.  Must pace myself.  Do things in shorter time frames, and then ice the knee.  Getting old is not the "golden years".  It was a pretty day though to be outside, sun was out; but it was still quite cool and windy.

Monday I did the larger of the 2 areas to the left of the door and about half the other side, when I decided the body had had enough for one round.  Mulch is spread much thinner then it should be, so my initial eyeball that 20 bags wasn't enough seems to be correct.  But, it's a start.  Will take several weekends for this work in progress, and probably about 5 more trips to buy more mulch to get the 2 sides, all around the deck in back and the 3 fence rows in back.  I'm thinking I might like to do away with one of the beds and let it go back to grass, getting to hard to keep up.

Having finished the basic square, side to side garter stitch cotton washcloth started everyone's favorite...Grandma's corner to corner with what I had left of the pretty blue, white, and yellow variegated.  Just started here with the yellow from my stash and am now at the decreasing part, so just over half way.  Plan to make maybe 2 more....shhhhhhh though, am working on Pay it Forward Gifts so mums the word.

Dark and Gloomy, looks like night instead of morning, more rain is expected....which means I probably won't be finishing the mulching today.  I'm ok with that; but hope to do it tomorrow so there's a few days between before taking delivery of the next load.

Garter Stitch Cotton Cloth

Sometimes you just need the basics.  A cotton washcloth that works well for either a dishcloth or a washcloth in the shower.  Love the springy colors, and what's more basic then good old garter stitch?  I love garter stitch and sometimes it's nice to have something  you don't have to think about, you don't have to count, you don't need a pattern etc.

Having just complete another large project, (crocheted afghan, Iris and Lillie), I needed a quick little something that was portable.  It's travel with me to work, and is something I can easily work on in between things, and while watching TV.

It might go to Bridge and Beyond, it might be a secret gift, and I might be a wee bit selfish and keep it for me.  I've made more of these then I can count......but I don't any for me, myself, and I.

Happy Work in Progress Wednesday all.  Badges and links in Meme Tab above.

Working on Iris and Lillies on the Wednesday Before Easter

Am making good progress after the frogging of a group of 4 squares (1 block).  Top two blocks are attached, and am working on the 4th block which will get attached to the 3rd block, which will then get attached to the top rectangle piece.  LOL...Makes you think the hip bones connected to the thigh bone...blah

Normally, I edge the individual squares ( which I did in purple first) and tie them together and join in one long row, working across and then up and down.  But,  these squares needed a little more help with getting to the same size so (enter the mellow yellow) they're not all edge with the same number of rows, or even the same stitches; and I wanted a bit more width then the 4 squares across would give.  This seems to accomplish both of those goals, AND it's a bit less on your lap to work with therefore making it a bit more portable.  Currently the mellow yellow joining and edging of the block of 4 squares is muting the bright yellow a smedge which is helping to blend...I think the more mellow yellow in the variegated squares.

I'll be looking through my stash once this is all 1 piece to see about an appropriate purple to edge the whole thing with.

This is another of the ghans assembled from donated squares through Bridge and Beyond which will be donated to Homeless Families Foundation.

I hope this Wednesday finds you happily busy.  Those who are traveling for the up coming holiday, please be safe and enjoy your time with loved ones.

Crocheting and Knitting on Wednesday

Working on Iris and Lillies. Making headway with the edging of the squares.  Think I'm about 1/3rd done with the edging of these squares.
Some squares require one granny style edge, others a sc row after the granny style, and others, maybe just a sc row to get things sized up before joinging.  Working on this afghan sure makes me think of flowers, lillies, iris, and daffodils.   It's another of the afghans being assembled from donated squares through Bridge and Beyond that will donated to Homeless Families.

I've gotten upto 16 inches so far on this kimono style sweater for my Darling Daughter.  This is the back piece.  It's grown several inches since the last picture (previous post).  Think and hope when this is finished the sleeves and 2 front pieces will seem faster.

Green Kimono Style Sweater

Knitted on the plane going to Newport Coast, CA and almost every day while on vacation there.  This is the back of THIS, my work in progress this Wednesday.  Using washable Plymouth Encore Wool and Acyrlic yarn, and 2 sizes of circular needles 7's and 8's; this is the back.  Lots still to do, as it needs to measure 29 inches with a cast on of 120 stitches.  Currently this measures about 13 inches.  LOVE the color.  Some of you know, green is one of my DD's favorite colors, the other is purple.  I bought the pattern and yarn as a Christmas present ...but, wrap it and told her I'd make it after Christmas.

The style looks like it would be very comfortable and good sweater to have on hand.

What's everyone working on this Wednesday for work in progress?  Having just gotten back in town last night in the middle of our latest snow storm, this post is short and sweet.  Much to do in order to catch up.

Mother and Daughter Style

This past weekend I spent a fabulous fun filled "Girls Time" with my Darling Daughter Christine.  We live about 500 miles apart and love love love our time together.  She has some serious talent when it comes to painting pottery.  I dabble at it.  But, with dabble I am getting a wee bit better.  These are 2 small shallow bowls (shallow easier for me) that can be used as salad bowls and or snacky type bowls.  They weren't met to match, but possibly to coordinate color wise?  This is before firing.  The one with the dots and waves, and birds/arrow things should be a deep gold background with brown and dark gray-blackish design.  The 2nd one should be shades of brown and dark dark green with black dots.  Not sure when I'll see the finished results, as she will need to pick them up later this week after firing and at some point get them to me...via mail or something.  Here's my last dabble, wasn't girls wkend, but she and I were painting pottery while on vacation.
This is more my style.  Finally got the awesome green sweater for my Darling Daughter started.  I cast on the plane trip there and worked just a bit on it during the wkend.  Was able to do a little on the return flight as well.  Several more inches of the basic garter stitch remain which is the trim section of the kimono style sweater.  Then I'll switch needle sizes and get into the pattern stitch.  Believe this will be a traveling companion on my up coming trip to CA.
I told she, DD had mad skills with painting pottery!  She drew this free hand in a deep curved bowl.  I couldn't draw that on a flat piece of paper.  Again this is pre-firing and the colors afterwards will be navy blue background, and a bright gold and yellow flower with shading and leaves.  She made 2 of these.  Both bowls are navy on the outside.  Really anxious to see this done.  All the things she's made have turned out so well.  Here's our projects On a previous Girls Time(this was my first, something happened we never got our pieces after they were fired.  No loss probably on my piece, but here's was really nice.

AND yet another vacation where we painted pottery together

Stuffed Chicken and Wine Pairings

Wine pairings, a work in progress.  What...no yarn?  One of the cool Christmas gifts we got from our Darling Daughter was a box of wine pairings for each of us.  My box was all Pinot Noir while hubby's wine tasting pairings were mixed reds.  You get 6 cute little bottles like this in each box.  We've been selecting one from each box that by description seems to go with what we're having for dinner.  We have special wine tasting glasses that are appropriately small and fun to use.  We get a card that tells about each of the wines in our boxes.  As we taste them we pick a favorite each time from the 2.  So far 2 from my box and 1 from his have been selected.
It's fun, and nice way to try wines you're un-familiar with.  Sorry this picture is on a bit of an angle.  The night we had stuffed chicken our pairs were suppose to go well with Duck.  That was as close as I could get.  A fabulous spinach salad, fresh green beans season with almond slices, and experimental stuffed chicken.

Experimental?  Well, I hadn't made it before, and it was not made from a recipe per sey.
I had 2 chicken breasts thawing, when I also took out a bag of ham to thaw (intending the ham to be for lunch sandwiches....from my Honey Baked Christmas Ham).  Nosing around in the fridge and noticed I had some swiss cheese.  So.....placed sliced ham, cheese and spicy brown mustard between the 2 chicken breasts.  Couldn't find appropriate string to tie, and all my toothpicks were plastic.  Hum......how to keep together to cook it as stuffed chicken?  More nosing around in the fridge and came up with a pastry shell.  Pillsbury intended for baked brie.  Sooooooo, wrapped the pastry the chicken and sealed it.  Was gorgeous.  Cooked covered wtih foil and meat probe.  Chicken tasted wonderful, and the pastry got nicely golden brown.  It was a big hit!  Should have taken a picture before we sliced and placed on our plates.

Soooo my wip continues with wine pairings, though the stuffed chicken is now a FO, lol.
AND work continues on Sea and Sand. *posting a bit early, will hop over for linky's tomorrow

Looking for more yarn news? (check out my pay it forward post on a new blog), cause as some point.....that will be a work in progress.

Working on Arapahoe

These are strips that were donated through Bridge and Beyond.  Almost got all the edging done and will start assembling soon. I'm edging them with light gray.  Once it's assembled I'll see if I need to add to the two sides for additional width prior to doing the final border.
Strips vary just a bit in length, and might need a little coaxing here and there; but I think it will come together just fine.  These strips weren't made to come together as 1 afghan; but to me it looks like they were.  I like how it looks and believe the name my Darling Daughter came up with as we designed together over Christmas vacation is perfect.

Like 99% of the afghans you see here, this will be donated for Project Welcome Home, when a family transitions from shelter living to permanent housing.

Buckeye Blitz in the Works

Making some good headway with Buckeye Blitz Afghan.  As you can see, comparing this picture with the one in the previous post.  I like how the black is adding more contrast; but in measuring this in it's current stage....don't believe the additional row of black is going to be enough to get the size needed.

Have considered adding more gray, but also have a lighter gray.  Have considered adding another row of white ....think that might make things pop even more?  Current supply of black in my stash makes me think I might not have enough to just keep adding black....Am in the pondering stages.

A lady at work who used to knit and crochet, always likes to see my projects and she thinks black is the way to go.  Might be making a yarn purchase, though that seems crazy given the already bulging shelves I have....stay tuned.

Day Before Thanksgiving

No doubt this is big and busy day for all, getting ready for tomorrow.  Some may be shopping for food, others doing food prep, and others traveling to be with their loved ones during this special time.  Here in our house, all the above are taking place.  I've done some food prep, and need to pick up a few items at the grocery, and am awaiting the arrival of our daughter, DD that she is.  She get's in this evening and I'm pretty excited.  It's been way too long since we've been together.  Was back in July.  Soooooooooo, though I have lots to do, hurry nightfall.  For all my friends traveling for the holidays, please be safe.

Now onto work in progress Wednesday (all badges and links in tab across the top of the blog.  My previous post was Sunday's YOP where you saw several afghans...well work continues, please scroll back.

On Friday, I'll show you the completed My Granny Ghan.  But, today you can see the progress of Buckeye Blitz.  I think even with adding 2 inches of gray to the squares, something else may be needed to make this ghan a bit larger then a lapghan size.  For now, I'm thinking maybe a row (sc) of black around each square followed by a row or two of lighter gray?  The red squares measure 8 inches, but because I like the look of just these squares and am not adding other squares to them....will play through for awhile and let it unfold.  Thoughts?

This is another of ghans being assembled from donated squares through Bridge and Beyond to be donated to Project, "Welcome Home".

Happy Thanksgiving one and all.

My Granny

If you've been to my blog before, you know I always name afghans I'm working on.  This afghan is being assembled from donated crocheted squares through Bridge and Beyond for project, "Welcome Home".  I've got it tied together and have started crocheting it together, then it will need a nice border.  Once completed it will be donated.

I'm still knitting Sea and Sand, and the Traveling Scarf, but no headway on the purple whatever scarf.  Purple whatever scarf gave me fits so is in time out and that's all there is to it.  I'll show it who's boss, lol...well probably not, yarn usually gets the upper hand, as no doubt you all know.

I've not gotten to participate in WIPW in quite awhile, things have been busy, so am pleased to be able to play with you all today.  All badged and links for the meme's in tab across the top of the blog.  Join us, the more the merrier.

**WOW just noticed, I'm creeping up on blog post #500, pretty cool.

Sandbox Play

Some time back I designed this ghan from donated squares, back and tagged it.  I had 2 names on the label, Sand Box and Earth II.  I had previously named one Earth or Earthy.  I decided to go with Sandbox for this one.  The squares are close to the same size, but not quite, so will need some adjustments with the edging before joining this afghan.  Interesting how different an afghan can look based on the edging one selects.  Here it's without, layed out on the living room floor.
The other day, I decided it was time to start another project, no that doesn't mean Sea and Sand is finished, just means I need something to switch off from knitting the large feather and fan afghan.  Here it is when about half the squares edged in a tan, white, and beige variegated yarn.  I had it on the spare bed, kept staring at it...trying to decide whether to go with an off white solid or something different.  After a couple of days, I decided to go with the variegated and I pleased I did...I think it really makes the look of sand.  It also, I think brightens this ghan.  Looked a bit dull/dark before hand.
A close up so you can see how the variegated is pulling it together, or at least I think so.  Might look a bit wonky against the flowered red breadspread vs the solid tan carpet.  lol

Happy Wed, and happy stitching one and all.  All WIPW badges and links are found in the meme's tab on top of the blog.  Please join us and have fun.

Half Way There!

Well, finally I can say I'm half way done with this feather and fan afghan (Sea and Sand).  I've thought before I was half way...in terms of the color layout etc, but then I would measure it and go back to the drawing board with what section, what color to do next etc.  The brown variegated you now see on the needles is the half way point.  From here forward I'll be doing the reverse with variegated sections between the larger light gray, dark gray, and tan sections.  Though the variegated sections up and coming aren't the same, the colors blend, so am hopeful it will look planned and not look like a grab this and that to put it together.  Late getting this post up for Work in Progress Wednesday; but at least I made it this week.  Been behind with my WIPW, FOF, and YOP Sunday meme's.
Here's a bit of close up so you can see the brown variegated better.  All meme's badges and links have been moved to their own page to clean up the blog some.  Check the tabs across the top of the blog.  Join us for any or all of the meme's, they are fun.

Working Away on Wednesday

Wow, it's Wednesday again. Seems I've fallen behind with these regular mimi's of late. This cable scarf is coming right along. In fact I've worked on it more since taking this photo the other day. I love the yarn, both texture and color. I'm pleased with my progress making the cables. This is the 2nd item I've made using cables. First was a difficult washcloth....cotton not a good thing to start with since there's no give to it. My concern is...I'm going to run out of yarn. Bought this some time ago and trying to match it...not possible; plus somewhere along the line I pitched the wrapper and couldn't begin to know what the number was. It's also a bit more narrow then I like. I would add a 3rd cable if I did this again. In fact the pattern on RAV, only showed one cable and was a real skinny scarf. This measures just about 4 inches wide. Assume It will grow a wee bit when blocked?
Slowly it's coming along. My first ever one piece knitted afghan. Knitting is so much slower then crocheting; but I am enjoying working on this. I previously made a scarf using the feather and fan and decided a ghan was the way to go. You see the pattern so much more. My problem is, I keep changing the design in terms of how much of this color and that color, because I'm using donated and stashed yarn and well, it truly is a work in progress. I thought I finally had it figured out, and the last variegated yarn was to be the middle....which would mean I'm now working on the 2nd half. I'm not totally sure it's going to be large enough. See, what you think. Sooo, I may have to check my stash again for like the 3rd or 4th time. Pretty sure though I don't have anything appropriate....to have a middle, I needed an odd number of the variegated, sooooooooooo...we'll see. I do think I may need to lay this aside though and work on some other projects. I always name my afghans, and this one is titled, Sand and Sea. I can't take credit for it, the name I mean. One of my fellow bloggers suggested it.
I'm continuing to work everyday on earning points through superpoints. The points are converted to amazon gift cards. After shopping for myself and obtaining awesome needle holders, and a yarn organizer; I've been able to donate my gift cards to my daughter. Like me she's working hard everyday earning points and converting to gift cards through amazon. She's uses them to purchase text books for her students in need in the inner city of St. Louis. If you can help us by joining.........we would surely appreciate it. To join 3 easy peazy steps
  1. click the button and fill out the 4 little lines, name etc
  2. verify your email addy

Knitted Cables and Ty Dy

Cable scarf. This is my first cable scarf. I found a pattern on RAV which showed one cable and the scarf was quite thin (think it only had a cast on off 14 stitches). I used that pattern and added the middle stitches (3 garter stitches), and with good old math (see you really do need math in everyday life..............who knew back in school?), added a second cable with stitches on the sides to keep the scarf flat. I do have a bit of an curl at the scarf end; plus it flares a bit. I did several rows of garter there....thought I should to keep from curling...........lol. So, quess the curl and flare will be part of design when I get to the other end.

The purple and green (and red) yarn was purchased with DD in mind; but she didn't seem that excited by this scarf as I worked on it last week. Started this on the plane to Utah, worked on it off and on during the week when I needed a project that would fit in my purse; and again on the plane ride home. It's not quite as wide as she likes, though perhaps I could crochet an edge when done............or try to pick up stitches? I've not picked up stitches in knitting before soooooo...we'll see.

Love the yarn it's Knit One Crochet too Ty-Dy Wool. It's very nice to work with. 218 yards in the skein, I'm not sure if I have one skein or two. Must check my stash. Only took one with me, but I did that with several other skeins knowing I had more here. Hum........must check.

Work in Progress Wednesday, badges and links in sidebar. We love you all to join us. I've done one other item using a cable stitch so am enjoying the practice I'm getting with this.

Happy 4th of July America

Work in Progress Wednesday (badges and links in sidebar). One project was sawing up all the tree limbs that feel during the last 2 storms. My part is done as you can see. Waiting on the city (which I thought was picking up 2 days ago) to finish the job. My whole street looks like this.
And while I continue to knit on the feather and fan afghan (named Sea and Sand), no new pictures as the progress has been slow, spending time on the yard and getting ready for today...4th of July. I have taken time to look through these 2 new books that just came the other day from Amazon...work in progress is trying to pick out a shawl pattern...and trying to understand the different types of casting on. These books and other cool things (remember my 2 needle holders?)
From Amazon. You can turn your points from SuperPoints into Amazon gift cards. Work in progress is trying to amass more points to shop with. Click to join, fill out your profile, verify your email addy. Done...you've already started earning points. Now complete offers, watch video's, play games, do survey's and spin DAILY on the Superlucky Button for extra points.

On this special holiday, please remember those who made it possible. My Dad was in The Navy, a Seabee. Fly your Flag Proudly. If you're traveling, travel safe my friends.

Needles Take 3

Ok, where to begin. Wanting a break from crocheting edges and joining squares to make afghans for Bridge and Beyond, thought I'd start a knitting ghan. Started this Feather and Fan Design on a pair of Addy Turbo's, and even though we all know those to be excellent needles I was having trouble with the k2tog (knit 2 together), with tightness. I never thought I knitted tight and thought perhaps it was the combination of the Caron Wintuk (grey section), and the very blunt needle (the turbo's). And it was curling so badly I was having a hard time getting the yarn to move properly. Switched to my Denise Interchangeable s (a better point to pick up the k2tog'ers, and by connecting 2 nice long cords was able to get it to be less curly..easier to work with). It wasn't good, but it was better. I still have trouble getting the yarn to move, as the acrylic in Caron Wintuk and the Denise seemed to grab at each other........then after multiple long rows (250+ cast on stitches), the Denise's came apart...and naturally the yarn moved nicely off then!

Switched to new needles, got the length I need (60 inches) to spread things out and do less tugging and pushing the stitches along, and low and behold the knitting tension seemed to improve, as did the movement of the yarn/stitches. And using lace needles with a better point, was the combination I needed. The k2tog are a huge improvement.

While not totally stretched out, as it would go off the needles, it's enough you can actually see the pattern, the yarn, and the colors better then previously posted pictures. Solving the color of what comes next as I go. Posted about that problem, see previous post for YOP post on Sunday.
Here's a close up of the 3 colors thus far with the 4th skein at the ready. I'm probably going to have each section a different width, as I have only 6 of the multi-tweedy skeins and you can see it doesn't go far based on what's already showing, which was 1 skein. Probably going to start looking through the blue stash and hope to find something that works. If not, will move onto the brown stash (though the blue is larger).

AND, the new needles. Chiao Goo, notice how much lower in price they are then the Addy Turbo's!

My plan is to finish the current tan-ish section, add the next tweedy section, find something in my stash to make the next section; then move back to crocheting edges and joining some donated squares for Bridge and Beyond. Plan to go back and forth between this ghan and the crocheted ones.

Still contemplating a name for this afghan, sing out if you have thoughts. All I've come up with so far is Earthy Feathers, which I'm not really sold on...not knowing all the colors that will be involved yet.

Gray and Tweed Feather and Fan

Not much of a work in progress, I grant you....but a start. Actually there's more on the needles then it appears since it's all curling up. I may need to purchase a longer needle. Think this is a 34? Oophs, just looked it says it's a 40, but I don't think it measured that when I was checking it the other day. Expected things not to be so gathered on the needles. It's a ChiaoGoo lace needle size 9. Knitted worsted weight on the needles with sorta almost a chunky in the various variegated you see. The variegated is Sirdar tweed effect chunky. It's not as chunky as some, and the gray is a Caron Wintuk...heavier then most worsted weight...so they seem almost the same. The Sirdar is a blend, but is machine washable like the gray. These skein only have just over 80 yards, and each one is a different tweed; but they all blend nicely with this shade of gray. The Sirdar Tweeds were donated, so am hopeful this with my gray will make a nice afghan.
Making a Feather and Fan Afghan to donate to ,my charity blog, Bridge and Beyond for The Homeless Families Foundation. The families are given an afghan in their welcome pack when they move from the various shelters to permanent housing. Wanted to show you a close up of my cute little lambs...gifted stitch markers. Aren't they cute!
