I'm pleased to say even I can't see the wee bit of pink in this finished afghan/blanket. I posted the process and it's story previously. If you'd like to read about this soon to be born on the streets baby, please click HERE. It measures just over 41 inches square. Not bad for a start with 16 6 inch squares. This will be hand carried by my friend Rae to this expecting homeless couple.
If you're moved, and would like to help, please pop over to my charity blog, Bridge and Beyond. There are many ways to help. The more help we have, the more people we're able to help.
Short and sweet this week folks, many things in the works though.

*posted a bit early, that's a change

ReplyDeleteYOU ARE SO GIVING.....WHAT A GREAT PROGRAM YOU BELONG TOO. RIZZI
Wow. I am impressed, but then you always impress me! :-) This came out just great and I think the couple will welcome this special ghan. I see it becoming a treasure for their wee one in future years.
ReplyDeleteThank you hakucho, Faith, Rizzi, and Sandie for your visits and nice comments. I appreciate the support.
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is gorgeous! I know it will be well loved. How sweet you are.
ReplyDeleteI don't see any pink at all, so I'm sure parents and baby will love it. Hopefully it will symbolize the love and goodwill of strangers despite their desperate situation. Very nice blanket!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely blanket, and it will be a wonderful gift for that child. I am so impressed by all of the charity work you do - you are really an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is gorgeous, and I know the family will really appreciate it. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are simply amazing!!! That blanket is gorgeous. You should maybe tie it in a pretty bundle with some light blue ribbon. I'm kind of doubtful that a mom on the streets is going to have a baby shower and this may be the only item she gets as a gift for the baby. (((Hugs))) to you for all you do!
ReplyDeleteVery beautifully done! No pink at all - he will cherish it for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks all for the sweet comments. So glad you all don't see the pink either. Yippee.
ReplyDeleteThis might just be the most loved blanket ever! Awesome work!!
